Father's Day 2023...

This year for fathers day a reposting of my memoirs on my dad
and his early years was done to everyone on my WhatsApp.
Many comments and sharing
of emotions later, the community reading those words expressed many thanks
for the shared memories.... and it made me realize that these days stories of our elders have been replaced by constant engagement with technology and smartphones.
The young have less recollections of their family history and particularly of their grandparents lives and troubles as the world today marches to a different beat.

We are changing the very core of our values and core social engagements and our private lives that is so valued is apparently losing its flavor when one realised just how much selfish individualism creates a fractured society at large.

This is really dark when you take into consideration that our much vaulted asian values
basically starts with the stories that make each and every family an institution in the eyes of it's young.

Discovered a classmate... Timothy Thomas who runs the Capella Latin America restaurant in Heeren street.
